Welcome to the Swoopy Unveil - SEMA 2011

As evidenced by the following photos, Swoopy proved to be a huge hit throughout SEMA Week. Over 100 people were in attendance for the soft unveiling when the California Car Duster cover was removed on Tuesday, November 1st. The DuPont Hot Hues Sinful Cinnamon paint came to life under the lights within the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Dave Whittle flames appeared to float above the car surface, and the Mike Curtis one-off wheels provided the finishing touch for a stunning debut. The response from the crowd was exceptional and Swoopy proved to be one of the most photographed vehicles during the show. We were also honored to have numerous icons from the hot rod and racing industry in attendance, including George Barris, Kenny Youngblood, Ron Mangus, Mike Curtis, Lou Santiago, John Buck, Phil Leatherman, Keith Kaucher, and Dave McClelland. Others celebrities also stopped by to view Swoopy, including: Charlie Hutton, Rick Dore, and Troy Ladd. Comments from those viewing Swoopy ranged from "WOW!" (George Barris); to "Off The Hook" (Lou Santiago); and "Great Looking Paint" (Jon Kosmoski).
